Every thinking mind needs a world view.  This program builds on the cross-cultural understanding, perspectives, and influences of many different types of contemporary artists.  Each year, Wexner Center for the Arts will offer an experience with an artist making work within a unique culturally comprehensive context.  Featured artists may have work woven with cultural, political, social, and economic influence.

As education curriculum begins to focus more on global literacy, this program will support initiatives in secondary education to give students a broad cultural context for critical and creative thinking.  Subject to availability and opportunity, annually, this program will offer experiences with multiple disciplines of art making that include but are not exclusive to visual arts (painting, sculpture, photography), media arts (filmmaking and video art), and performing arts (theatre, dance, and music).
